Introducing the ELEMNT ROAM, Wahoo’s most powerful and accurate GPS bike computer, packed with features that turn any ride into an adventure. Updated for 2022, the ELEMNT ROAM delivers advanced accuracy and powerful on-device smart navigation with dual-band GPS technology. A crystal-clear 2.7” (6.9 cm) color display and long-lasting battery help you stay on track longer and explore further.

The Wahoo Elemnt Roam was first released in 2019 and borrowed many features from the original generation Wahoo Elemnt Bolt, while improving readability, navigation, and mapping.

Powerful navigation

Preloaded with maps of North America, Europe, Asia, Oceania and South America. Maps for Russia, Asia and Africa can be downloaded via WiFi. ROAM provides turn-by-turn directions for all routes and file types, including GPX files, TCX files and routes imported from Strava, Ride With GPS and Komoot. What if your plans change? Take Me To lets you create a route with turn-by-turn directions by simply selecting a location directly on the ELEMNT ROAM map page using the pan and zoom functions or by selecting one of your saved locations. In the ELEMNT Companion app, enter a destination, address or point of interest and generate a route with turn-by-turn directions and sync it to the ELEMNT ROAM via Bluetooth. There are also breadcrumb routing, location saving, lane rerouting and Bluetooth route syncing features.

Dual band GPS

The second version of the ELEMNT ROAM uses dual-band GPS for more accurate navigation. This is especially useful in areas such as forests, where GPS reception can be limited. This technology allows GPS receivers to track more than one signal from satellites on different frequencies and, therefore, filter out imprecise signals bouncing off objects in the environment.

Color screen

The display uses color intuitively so as not to overwhelm the user with a kaleidoscopic display, but rather to use color sparingly to highlight key information such as training zones. The Elemnt Roam's display measures 2.7 inches / 6.8 cm, compared to 2.2 inches / 5.6 cm for the Elemnt Bolt.

32GB memory and mapping

The ELEMNT ROAM has 32GB of memory, double the memory available on the Elemnt Bolt V2. You can store more maps and routes without having to manage files on the device.

Ultra-long battery life and durable screen

ROAM has a 17-hour battery life, so you can ride all day with maps without needing to charge. The display automatically adjusts its brightness and LEDs based on lighting conditions, both indoors and outdoors. ELEMNT ROAM uses waterproof and dustproof USB-C charging, which helps reduce charge times and keeps out dirt, water and debris, while the thin, lightweight, damage-resistant glass allows the device to withstand the toughest conditions.
