This is a modern take on the windproof shell jacket, the one you keep in your pocket for a long descent in the mountains or put on for the first hour until the weather warms up. This jacket used to be very simple: it was a nylon shell that lacked stretch and therefore had to be cut to fit all body shapes, both on and off the bike. |We have completely rethought the shell jacket and how it is constructed. We have added panels on the sides and sleeves in a very stretchy fabric with a tight knit, which allows us to give it a modern, close-fitting cut for aerodynamic gains on all terrains. It also retains more warmth than a jacket that flaps in the wind. It remains very compact so that it can be stored in a minimum of space in a jersey pocket.|Its stretch panels have been given a water-repellent treatment suitable for light fog, but be warned, this is not a true rain jacket.
