Located at the front of the helmet, the integrated Prizm™ lens uses a unique magnetic system to stay securely in place. The system is designed to ensure the lens is properly positioned for minimal drag, and to allow for quick attachment, removal, and storage. Like a traditional pair of glasses, the integrated lens can be stored on top of the helmet using the same hidden magnetic system. The tailless shell shape supports different body positions, making it a better overall fit for multiple use cases. - FIT: A 360° BOA fit system features an adjustable dial that provides a more secure fit and maximizes safety. Overall improvements to the shell shape ensure the ARO5 Race sits lower on the head for better balance, while adapting more naturally to the contours of your head.
- PROTECTION: The Mips® safety system is designed for added safety against a variety of accidents, helping to reduce harmful forces that could otherwise impact the wearer's head.
- VENTILATION: Internal ventilation channels in the EPS foam connect the front air vents to the rear exhaust ports, increasing overall airflow. The placement of each vent helps regulate body temperature by forcing air over your head, keeping you cool even if your ride heats up.
- LINING: The lining covers important contact points on the head and is made of Ionic+ material for added comfort. The main benefit of Ionic+ is the release of positively charged silver ions from the fabric in the presence of moisture. This ionic action helps to eliminate sweat build-up on the surface, extending the life of the product.
- GOGGLES STORAGE: Just like a traditional pair of goggles, the integrated lens can be stored on top of the helmet using the same magnetic system. The best part is that the vent design allows for ventilation even when the lens is stored.
- INTEGRATED PRIZM™ LENS: The integrated Prizm lens cup is inspired by Oakley’s popular Sutro frame and features a disruptive cylindrical lens. Through extensive user testing, the team was able to determine the best lens shape, integration function, and fit. This ensures the lens doesn’t squish into the face and allows the rider to comfortably wear a prescription underneath. If things get heated while riding, there’s no need to sweat: the lenses use the same anti-fog coating as our motocross goggles.
