Anima means “soul” in Italian, and this jersey reflects that. While the previous version of the Anima was a firm favourite, we felt we could still make some improvements. Aside from a few minor cosmetic tweaks, we’ve essentially refined the ProSecco Velo fabric to make it softer and more comfortable. Designed in Italy, this fabric by Castelli makes the new version of the Anima 4 feel like no entry-level jersey. It’s the small technical details that make all the difference: its tailored fit, decorative stitching, elegant, discreet buckles, easy-to-use drawstring zipper, and reflective elements. Given the continued growth of long-sleeved jerseys for summer temperatures, we’ve opted for a fabric rated UPF 45, meaning it filters out nearly 98% of harmful UV rays despite weighing just 120 grams per square meter.
