We designed these bib shorts to incorporate as much of the technology from our high-end professional racing shorts as possible, but at a more accessible price. And while they're certainly suitable for weekend races, they're also excellent, comfortable, and high-performing bib shorts even if you never pin them on a race number. The Competizione 2 Bibshort is made primarily from our textured Vortex fabric. We've used a wide, stretchy leg band with integrated silicone to ensure a comfortable and secure fit. The KISS Air2 chamois offers comfort that comes very close to that of our high-end chamois pads, but at an unbeatable price. We've updated the bib straps somewhat: the back panel is made of mesh for breathability, while the straps are made from a lightweight, stretchy material that remains comfortable even after several hours on the bike. The intangible element you'll appreciate most lies in our ability to design a perfectly tailored fit, the result of the work of the Castelli engineering team. This model is the bib short that incorporates all of Castelli's expertise in comfortable performance bib shorts, in an accessible product to add to your cycling wardrobe.
