While there are plenty of so-called “aero” socks on the market, the Castelli Fast Feet label guarantees rigorous design and testing to back up this claim. The few socks that have been tested have likely been subjected to static, not dynamic, testing, as the process is simpler. But since a foot is always mobile, we have developed a jig that replicates the movement of the lower leg. And to verify our results, our tests are also conducted by real-life cyclists. This overshoe can provide a power gain of 2 watts at 50 km/h.
