HRM-Run provides 6 running dynamics metrics:

• Cadence: the number of steps taken per minute
• Vertical oscillation: the "bounce" when you run and the vertical movement of your torso, expressed in centimeters for each step
• Ground contact time: The time spent on the ground with each step when running, expressed in milliseconds.
• Ground contact time balance: The right/left balance of ground contact time during running, expressed as a percentage; for example, 53.2 with an arrow pointing left or right
• Stride length: The length of your stride from one step to the next, expressed in meters
• Vertical ratio: The ratio of your vertical swing to your stride length, expressed as a percentage; the lower the number, the better you run

This real-time data can help athletes improve their performance by showing them where they need to improve their running technique.
