With the all-new SLiCK , Factor makes a remarkable return to the world of triathlon with a bike specifically designed to meet the needs of the majority of triathletes in terms of training, competition and transport.

Ultra-fast aerodynamic design

The SLiCK triathlon benefits from advances developed for the OSTRO VAM and the gold medal and world record-holding HANZŌ Track . The head tube design leverages research from the OSTRO VAM while addressing the specific demands of triathletes. The SLiCK’s streamlined tubes provide an ultra-fast bike at a competitive price, surpassing many recent generation triathlon bikes in aerodynamics.

Optimal support while running

One of the highlights of the SLiCK is its frame design, which incorporates numerous storage spaces that are accessible while riding. These solutions include an integrated hydration system and a “bento” box on the top tube, capable of holding 500 ml of water and storing all the nutrition needed for the cycling leg of a triathlon. These spaces, perfectly integrated into the frame, allow easy access while preserving aerodynamics.

An internal storage area in the down tube provides ample space for tools, light jackets and other emergency equipment, essential during a competition or long training session. This compartment, accessible via a locking mechanism, ensures a clean and vibration-free space for small essentials that can make a difference on the day.

A design thought for travel

Transporting your bike to races can be a challenge. To make these trips easier, we made practical design decisions that allow for easy adjustment during initial assembly and ensure your position remains consistent, even after multiple disassemblies and reassemblies.

The SLiCK features a standard 1 1/8” head tube reinforced with an integrated channel, allowing for easy cockpit customization and simplified disassembly/reassembly for travel. Its C-shaped construction promotes internal cable routing while maintaining an extremely aerodynamic head tube profile.

A wide range of adjustments

With this in mind, several elements have been integrated to offer great flexibility in terms of positioning. The round head tube allows the use of a wide selection of third-party handlebars, risers and extensions, ensuring a perfect fit for each triathlete.

The SLiCK’s performance-oriented geometry is designed to suit a wide range of riders, with special attention to smaller frames. The saddle rail system provides an effective seat tube tilt range of 73 to 79 degrees, depending on the rider’s height. Compatible with a wide range of accessories, including rear-mounted hydration systems, the SLiCK adapts to the specific needs of each rider.

The SLiCK also boasts extensive compatibility with features such as the T47 bottom bracket, which makes maintenance easier, as well as parts sharing with the OSTRO VAM model, including the seatpost, headset bearings, spacers, and axles. A solution designed to avoid any difficulty in finding replacement parts, even when traveling.
