Castelli Men's Squadra Stretch Windbreaker Jacket

This is a modern take on the windproof shell jacket, the one you keep in your pocket for long descents or throw on for the first hour until the weather warms up. This jacket used to be very simple: it was a nylon shell that lacked stretch and had to be cut to fit all body shapes, both on and off the bike. |We completely rethought the shell jacket and how it is constructed. We added panels on the sides and sleeves in a very stretchy fabric with a tight knit, which allows us to give it a modern, close-fitting cut for aerodynamic gains on all terrains. It also retains more warmth than a jacket that flaps in the wind and remains very compact so that it can be stored in a minimum of space in a jersey pocket. Its stretch panels have been given a water-repellent treatment to protect against light fog, but be warned, this is not a true rain jacket.
