This suit, which set a new record in Kona during its first competition with Cameron Wurf, incorporates all our know-how to make you faster than ever during your next long distance competition.

In 2016 we started our aerodynamics research project with the Norwegian Technical University in Trondheim. Besides being lucky enough to work with a handful of brilliant professors and PhD students, we have access to their wind tunnels, rapid prototyping capabilities, CFD analysis and we take advantage of their goal of designing a bunch of fast things. The research team’s first big success was Team Sky’s time trial suit that managed to put four riders in the top eight in the Tour de France time trial. Then the UCI made it illegal.

So this suit is not UCI legal (but neither is your bike). It is faster than the suits worn by professional cyclists and highly illegal due to the silicone ribbing in the arms. The fabric on the main body is an incredibly lightweight 50 denier, 40 denier is generally considered ultra-thin in sportswear. The legs and sleeves are long for an aero suit, but lightweight fabrics are great for dealing with heat as they are thin enough not to weigh you down, and the 8% Lycra® traps some moisture against your skin to cool your body quickly. The incredible level of stretch allows us to create a garment that truly fits like a second skin on the bike, and doesn't restrict you in any way in the swim or run.

Our KISS Tri chamois provides nice padding during the bike leg and is thin enough not to bother you during the run.
