The Aeris Long Distance saddle is a split-nose triathlon bike saddle designed to provide better support and greater stability when adopting an aerodynamic forward racing position.

Innovation in bike fit analysis and research into cycling aerodynamics have led us to rethink our triathlon and time trial saddles. In a field where marginal gains are fundamental, being able to provide a saddle that allows comfort in the most extreme aerodynamic positions represents a leap forward in performance.

DESIGNED TO GO THE DISTANCE

The long-distance version of the Aeris is designed with a split nose. The independent halves of the nose allow for an unprecedented pressure relief system while maintaining the firm support and balance needed for long hours spent pushing in an aerodynamic position. At the nose, the rail loop provides strength to prevent asymmetrical fatigue while acting as a hook to hold the bike in place during race transitions.

SUPPORT TRIATHLETES

The saddle padding consists of our Type 1 formulation - thicker on the nose, where triathletes and time trialists spend most of their time, and thinner on the ischial bones to provide a firmer feel when riders have to get up from the aerodynamic position.

CHARACTERISTICS FOR TRIATHLON

The Aeris comes with a removable mount for integrating a water bottle cage at the rear of the saddle. The Link is designed to hold water bottles at an angle that won't interfere with the critical mounting and dismounting phases in transition areas. Compliant with UCI regulations, the Aeris features a revolutionary rail insert that not only provides a more aerodynamic feel but also a wide range of adjustments, necessary to achieve the ideal forward position for overcoming the wind.

The Aeris R1 gains weight thanks to a new 7x9 mm carbon rail.
