The Aeris Long Distance saddle is a split-nose triathlon bike saddle designed to provide greater support and stability when adopting a forward-facing aerodynamic racing position.

Innovation in bike fit analysis and research into cycling aerodynamics have led us to rethink our triathlon and time trial saddles. In a field where marginal gains are fundamental, being able to provide a saddle that allows comfort in the most extreme aerodynamic positions represents a leap forward in performance achievement.

DESIGNED TO GO THE DISTANCE

The long-distance version of the Aeris is designed with a split nose. The independent halves of the nose allow for an unprecedented pressure relief system while maintaining the firm support and balance needed for long hours spent pushing in an aerodynamic position. At the nose, the rail loop provides strength to prevent asymmetrical fatigue while acting as a hook to keep the bike in place in the transition zones of the race.

SUPPORT TRIATHLETES

The saddle padding consists of our Type 1 formulation – thicker on the nose, where triathletes and time trialists spend most of their time, and thinner on the sit bones to provide a firmer feel when riders need to rise from the aero position.

FEATURES FOR TRIATHLON

Aeris comes with a removable mount that allows for the integration of a bottle cage into the rear of the saddle. The Link is designed to hold bottles at an angle that is not awkward during critical mounting and dismounting phases in transition zones. In line with UCI rules, the Aeris is equipped with a revolutionary rail insert that not only provides a more aero feel, but also a wide range of adjustment, necessary to achieve the ideal forward position to beat the wind.

The Aeris R1 saves weight thanks to a new 7x9mm carbon rail.
