The Black Inc TWENTY represents the ultimate in lightweight climbing wheels. They are equally impressive in sprints thanks to their incredible stiffness. Their low weight and shallow profile reveal their responsiveness when handling acceleration forces. They inspire confidence on all road terrain, whether descending or climbing.

Made from an ultra-high-strength carbon fibre blend, the TWENTY has been developed to enhance each rider’s racing and training, as well as excel in UCI WorldTour events with our sponsored riders. This level of versatility is possible because the TWENTY is designed with a clincher/tubeless ready rim and a disc brake only option. This makes the wheels not only very capable but also very practical. The internal shape of the clincher rim has been optimised to ensure the best possible tyre bead hold for both tubeless and standard builds.

The carbon composition for each rim has been optimized to maximize the strength-to-weight ratio. Since the TWENTYs are equipped with disc brakes only, the rim did not have to accommodate a traditional brake track. Reducing the material required on the outer edges of the wheel helps reduce rotational weight, making the TWENTYs even faster and lighter. This lightness will be even more evident in the tubular option with disc brakes.

The 21mm internal rim width and 28mm external width have been designed to work optimally with 700c, 25mm and 28mm tires. The smooth transition at the tire/rim interface improves the aerodynamics of the wheels, although these wheels are primarily focused on keeping weight low. However, every little aerodynamic gain makes a difference after hours on the road.

The TWENTY wheelset features a revised hub construction with low-friction CeramicSpeed ​​bearings and an updated freehub body engagement system. This advanced design allows the wheels to feel like they’ll spin forever, while engagement during a stop-start at a stoplight or a peloton attack ensures there’s no loss of power or momentum. The direct-pull disc hubset works easily with CX-SPRINT and CX-RAY Aero Butted direct-pull spokes.

Weighing just 1240 grams in the clincher version, the Black Inc TWENTY delivers uncompromising performance, especially for race and training days that focus on high elevation. Please note that the rider weight limit for TWENTY clinchers is 100 kilograms and 90 kilograms for tubulars.
