The Black Inc SIXTY is our decidedly pro-focused, high-rim wheelset that offers a level of comfort and handling confidence that makes it fast and practical for amateurs too. Optimized for crosswind stability and rider comfort, the SIXTY is ideal for paved or unpaved surfaces, for climbing hills or for riding on the flat.

The 56mm rim depth pairs with our patented rim shape to cut through the wind, but it really shines in strong crosswinds, which normally challenge a wheelset of this depth. The wider rim profile contributes to the overall aerodynamic performance of the SIXTY, especially when paired with wider tires that are more comfortable, offer lower rolling resistance, and provide better cornering grip. With a 21mm internal and 30mm external rim width, the SIXTY rims pair perfectly with tires of 25mm or more.

Available in disc brake, rim brake, tubular and clincher/tubeless, the Black Inc SIXTY is ideal for all riders, whether they’re drawn to mixed-terrain riding or looking to be the fastest in every local road race. For the rim brake option, a proprietary textured brake track paired with Black Inc’s essential brake pads enhances braking performance in both dry and wet conditions. The SIXTY’s exceptional stiffness in all configurations not only improves acceleration but also overall handling. Whether you’re descending a Tour de France col or charging into a 90-degree corner in a criterium, the SIXTY inspires confidence and encourages aggressive riding.

The SIXTY wheelset is available with Shimano, XDR and Campagnolo freehub bodies. The direct pull rim and disc hubs work easily with SAPIM CX-SPRINT and CX-RAY Aero Butted direct pull spokes. To keep weight as low as possible, the clincher versions use alloy internal nipples while the tubulars have alloy external nipples for easy maintenance. All Black Inc tubeless ready clincher wheels come pre-installed with the necessary valve stems and rim tape.
