This is the jacket designed for fast riding in cold weather or to be perfectly equipped on cool days. The Alpha two-layer construction is at the core of what makes this jacket effective, so you can be at full throttle from the beginning of the season. The woven stretch fabric allows a small amount of air to pass through to prevent you from sweating too much during efforts in cold weather, as moisture leads to cold. The second Polartec® Alpha layer insulates while offering significant breathability, and it's so light that the jacket has virtually no bulk.
The back is made of our Nano Flex Extra Dry fabric, which provides a good level of insulation without a membrane, allowing sweat to wick away in large quantities. The fit is close to the body so there is no flapping fabric, while small details make the difference: smooth-sliding YKK® zippers, reflective drainage holes on the pockets, flat silicone gripper elastic around the waist.
The snug fit also makes this our most aerodynamic jacket. While aerodynamics may not be paramount in winter, we are convinced that speed is fun!
