Simple to use, they offer the ability to adjust the tension for very easy clipping in and out. Their large and wide contact surface provides excellent pedaling stability.

Chromoly spindle for greater reliability

The spindle of the Keo Classic 3 uses an oversized steel axle. It consists of a miniature ball bearing (12 mm inside x 18 mm outside) and a needle bearing for better resistance to stress. A spacer is positioned to hold the needle bearing in place: it limits friction and allows for smoother rotation. A new process for checking the spindle assembly into the body also ensures the increased reliability of our pedals.

Look spindles are only validated after a 2-million-cycle rotation test at 100 rpm, with a 90 kg load on the center of the pedal and an eccentric rotation (which creates a shock with each turn) — a test far superior to the current standard, EN14781.
