The Premio EVO Bibshort was designed to deliver ultimate long-distance comfort and to be your favorite bibshort. That's a big claim, but this short is the result of extensive research and development. The heart of the Premio's exceptional comfort is the chamois, and our top-of-the-line Progetto X2 Air Seamless seat pad is indeed made of two separate components: a stretchy Skin Care layer in contact with your skin, whose sole purpose is to prevent any rubbing, and, underneath, the cushioning layer, which features two different foam densities as well as perforated and breathable gel inserts under the sit bones and perineum. The comfort continues in the construction of the short, with reduced seams and only three panels. We engineered a new fabric that changes depending on the needs of the different body parts. The raw-cut leg ending is made with a rubberized yarn to keep it flat and in place. The fabric becomes lighter on the thighs, while the four-way stretch fabric provides just the right amount of muscle support. At the pelvic area, the compression and support increase to hold the chamois and everything else in place. On the back, there is a thicker fabric to prevent any show-through. The high-quality fabrics also extend to the straps. The perforated back keeps you cool, and the edges are thermo-welded so you won't be bothered by the thickness of a seam. The elastic straps are soft and stretchy to ensure a perfect fit without being too tight. We also designed the straps so that the load is well distributed over the shoulders for increased comfort. The straps are narrower where they attach to the short, allowing for better breathability and reducing the amount of fabric in contact with your chest. As for the finishing touches, we've given the Premio EVO Bibshort a subtle logo, which can also be found on the other elements of our Premio EVO ensemble, for a refined and modern look.
