With transitions becoming more important—now considered the fourth discipline of any triathlon, whether it’s a full Ironman race or a sprint distance—we’ve redesigned our triathlon shoe line to meet the needs of the most demanding athletes. The Transiro Hydra features a single Velcro strap to enable faster, worry-free transitions where the slightest mistake can cost crucial time. Plus, the wraparound strap provides the foot support athletes need to perform efficiently in every race situation.

SOFTER, BREATHABLE SUPPORT

The Aeroweave upper ensures maximum breathability. Now in its second generation, the Aeroweave fabric interweaves nylon fibers with thermoplastic polymer filaments for an even lighter shoe that does not lose its original toughness, providing the strength and support needed in competition. The new upper is also more flexible, making it the ideal companion for those who prefer to approach the cycling segment without socks.

MORE POWER ON THE PEDALS

At its core, the R2 carbon fiber sole saves weight and increases stiffness, with a stiffness index of 10 making it the most responsive sole in the Fizik range. A large air intake and deep internal channels provide cool airflow to help regulate temperature. The cleat positioning is slightly further back than traditional settings to optimize pedaling efficiency and reduce knee compression, which is particularly suited to the highly aggressive aero positions adopted by triathletes.
