Bib shorts are a Castelli obsession. They’re the most vital element and one of the hardest to get right. Even though the Prima is our entry-level short, we didn’t sacrifice comfort or performance. First, we gave them the women’s-specific KISS Air2 chamois. The name itself gives an idea of ​​the constant improvement process that started with the soft KISS chamois, improved with more breathability (Air), and then improved again with the softest fabric ever (2). They’re ready to take you on your next big indoor or outdoor workout. The fabric is a new version of the Pro Dry Soft fabric that has a smooth matte finish and feels cool against the skin, provides excellent support and dries quickly. We wanted these shorts to stay great for years to come, so we added fine details like reflective panels that are sewn in instead of glued on, and the GIRO3 elastic gripper for grip that’s woven into the fabric. This attention to detail (go ahead, call it obsession) is why Castelli’s entry-level shorts are simply the best shorts!
